THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LINE OF SHOWERS AND SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS…STRETCHING FROM EVANSVILLE INDIANA TO LINTON
KENTUCKY AT 920 AM CDT…WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AROUND 30 MPH
THIS MORNING.

GUSTS FROM THE SOUTHWEST ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE RAIN COULD RANGE
FROM 25 TO 35 MPH. HIGHER GUSTS…REACHING UP TO 45 MPH MAY BE
POSSIBLE FROM HAUBSTADT TO WINSLOW INDIANA…CORYDON TO OWENSBORO
KENTUCKY…AND FROM PROVIDENCE TO CALHOUN KENTUCKY THROUGH 11 AM
CDT.

AFTER THE RAIN STARTS, BRIEF HEAVY RAIN WILL LAST LESS THAN 20
MINUTES…WITH LIGHTER RAIN LASTING UP TO AN HOUR. A SECOND…BUT
BROKEN BAND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE IN BEHIND THE
FIRST BAND OF RAIN WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS. ALL OF THE RAIN
SHOULD MOVE EAST OF THE AREA BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
