THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS…SOUTHWEST INDIANA…WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING MAINLY OVER PARTS OF WESTERN KENTUCKY. THE PRIMARY THREATS WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE FAR WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA LATE MONDAY NIGHT. THE PRIMARY
THREATS WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD ON TUESDAY AS A VIGOROUS COLD FRONT APPROACHES AND CROSSES THE REGION. DUE TO
STRONG WIND FIELDS AND AN SEASONALLY UNSTABLE AIRMASS…A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE MAINLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON WITH
DAMAGING WINDS AND A FEW TORNADOES BEING THE PRIMARY THREATS. AT THIS TIME THE GREATEST THREAT AREA FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
APPEARS TO BE OVER WESTERN KENTUCKY.
