Traffic ADVISORY

A contractor plans a northbound lane restriction on US 41 at the Wolf Hills Road intersection between Henderson and Evansville on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

This northbound daytime lane restriction on Tuesday is part of prep work for the 3-year Fix For 41 Project. The project includes major reconstruction of US 41 from the Twin Bridges to the I-69 Interchange south of Evansville.

This northbound lane restriction for US 41 traffic will begin near the intersection with Wolf Hills Road and extend approximately 1000 ft. northward. This work zone lane restriction will only be on the Kentucky end of the US 41 Twin Bridges approach levee. It will not extend across the bridges.

Northbound motorists traveling the US 41 between Henderson and Evansville should be prepared to encounter this work zone lane restriction starting at approximately 9 a.m., CDT, on Tuesday morning. This daytime work zone is expected to be in place until about 3 p.m., CDT, on Tuesday.

All northbound traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane in this work zone.

Northbound motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the US 41 intersection with Wolf Hills Road and Stratman Road during the day on Tuesday. Again, this northbound work zone does not extend across the US 41 Twin Bridges.
