Nell Elizabeth Berry, age 91 of Uniontown, KY died Friday 10/19/18 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Morganfield and had been a Sunday School teacher. She was also a clerk at Uniontown Post Office and had been a teller at Union Bank & Trust Co in Uniontown. Nell was an Avid UK basketball fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bob & Geary Hammond; husband of 56 years Walter J “Bill” Berry; son Glenn Wallace Berry; brother Parvin Hammond; Sisters Billie Mae Hammond, Frances Terry, and Marie Crooks.
Survivors include
1 daughter Denise Duckworth & husband Donnie of Morganfield, KY
1 son Scott Berry & wife Jamie of Henderson, KY
10 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday 10/22/18 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Bro Ron Gish & Bro Bill Lindsey will officiate.
Visitation will be 1-5 PM Sunday and 11 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
