Native American Weekend at Cumberland Falls is April 1-2

CORBIN, Ky. – Learn about Native American culture at the Native American Weekend April 1-2 at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park near Corbin.

The weekend, which is also sponsored by the Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission, will be about the music, traditions, culture and history of Native Americans. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children, seniors and veterans.

The schedule includes a flute concert on Friday evening; Native American history in Kentucky, contemporary issues of Native Americans, storytelling and dancing on Saturday.

The Riverview Restaurant will have its annual buffalo buffet Saturday evening, April 2, for $22.95 a person from 4:30-8 p.m.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park has a lodge, Riverview Restaurant, cottages, campground, hiking trails, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, other recreational activities and a great view of Cumberland Falls. For reservations or more information, call 1-800-325-0063.
