Sergeant McCallister of the Morganfield Police Department and Deputy Heady of the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of E. Lyon for an ongoing domestic disturbance. Larry A. Overfield, 42, was placed under arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense Methamphetamine and Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) No Visible Injury. Overfield was lodged at the Union County Jail.
