An 11 year old Webster County boy was injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Madisonville over the weekend.

Madisonville Police report a vehicle driven by 28 year old Jaymee Capps of Providence was traveling south in the right lane on Island Ford Road around 9:30 Sunday night approaching the intersection with the Pennyrile Parkway Exit 44 Entrance Ramp northbound when a vehicle driven by 17 year old Alysa Dasilva of Hanson did not yield the right of way. Police say this caused Capps’ car to hit the front right bumper of Dasilva’s vehicle.

Authorities indicate an 11 year old male passenger in Capps’ vehicle was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health in Madisonville for treatment of possible injuries. According to the report, Capps’ and two other juvenile passengers in her car were not injured in the crash.
