A Morganfield woman was airlifted to an Evansville hospital after a two vehicle wreck in Union County Thursday night.
Kentucky State Police responded to the intersection of US 60 Bypass at KY 2091 around 6:10 where authorities say it was determined 62 year old Billy O’Leary of Morganfield was driving a pickup truck northbound on KY 2091 and was approaching the intersection at the US 60 Bypass when he hit a vehicle driven by 57 year old Ray Snider of Clay who was traveling westbound on the Bypass.
According to state police, a passenger in O’Leary’s truck, his wife 60 year old Mary O’Leary, was flown by St. Mary’s Lifeflight to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, and Snider was transported to Methodist Hospital Union County for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
