Morganfield Police Department makes an Arrest in the Breckinridge Golf Course Burglary.

Morganfield Police Department have made an Arrest in the Breckinridge Golf Course Burglary. According to Sgt Geoffrey Deibler, On April 20, 2017 at approximately 2:35AM a white male with a short cut or balding hair broke into the main building at the golf course in Morganfield, Ky. Point of Entry was a rear window that was damages via the forced entry into the building. When inside the male stole several bottles of Premium Bourbon and whiskey as wel as some money from the cash register, several cases of beer, frozen chicken and some hot dogs. Damages to the building and and its interior along with the pecuniary loss of the stolen items is in excess of $2500.00.

Working in conjunction with the staff at the golf course and the video surveillance on site, along with The Union County Sheriff’s Office, and more particularly Deputy Jason Thomas, a search was secured and served on the residence of Gary W. Davis in Uniontown,Ky. While executing this search warrant several of the items stolen from the golf course were located and recovered. One of which was the trash can used by the subject to haul away the stolen loot.

Davis is currently housed in the Webster County Jail on behalf of The Union County Jail for the charges from another burglary 10 days after the golf course was broken into. Arrest Warrants have been sent and will be served as soon as they are received. All of the charges stemming from the Country Club break in are Class D Felonies.

Charges stemming from these arrests warrants are Burglary 3rd, Criminal Mischief 1st, TBUT or DIPS from building $500 or more but U/ $10,000.

Side note: Davis is currently in Jail for the alleged burglary of the Uniontown Food Mart.
