A Morganfield man was arrested after a wreck early Friday morning and charged with his 4th or greater DUI.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reports 61 year old Larry Royalty was taken into custody around 2:00 Friday morning after a wreck on Highway 60 East outside Waverly.
According to Deputy Waller’s citation, officials tell WMSK News Royalty smelled strongly of alcohol and refused all field sobriety tests.
He was taken to a local hospital to be checked out medically and then transported to the Union County Detention Center where he was charged for Driving on DUI Suspended License, Reckless Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs 4th or Greater Offense.
