Morganfield Elementary School Chooses New Principal.

In a press release from Brian Lovell Director of Personnel of Union County Public Schools has a announced that a New Principal for Morganfield Elementary School has been chosen.

During a special called meeting of the Morganfield Elementary School’s Site Based Decision Making Council this morning, the council selected Ryan Scott as your next Principal! Mr. Scott enthusiastically accepted the position and is looking forward to meeting with Mrs. Sheffer first thing Tuesday morning. With an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Murray State University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education and Rank 1 Education Specialist (Principal) Certification from University of Cumberlands, Mr. Scott is ready to lead MEs into the next phase of inspiring the champion within his staff and students.
Mr Scott brings over ten years of teaching experience in an elementary setting- in both regular and special education- and came with the strong endorsement from Rob Carroll, Principal of South Heights Elementary School in Henderson County, where Mr. Scott has taught since 2011 until the Present.
In addition to serving in leadership positions with the Henderson County Education Association, the SBDM Council, and various other curricular and extra-curricular roles, he recently completed Henderson County School’s 2016 Building the Bench future leadership development program.
