Motorists need to be aware a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling and paving along a section of KY 365 in northern Crittenden County today (Tuesday).

According to Todd, the work zone will run from Chandler Farm Road extending northward to the Crittenden-Union County line and the Tradewater River Bridge, a distance of over six (6) miles.

The contractor will start Tuesday with installing construction signs and cutting back shoulders followed by milling and the placement of wedging and leveling asphalt on Wednesday and then on Thursday they will follow up with surface asphalt paving.

Motorists need to be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.

Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this over 454-thousand dollar highway improvement project. Todd indicates the target completion date is August 5, 2016, weather permitting.
