MFD: Four people injured in single vehicle wreck in Morganfield

Emergency personnel have been busy this morning after responding to a fire alarm and two wrecks in Morganfield.

At this time all the details have not been released, but emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle wreck with injuries this morning in Morganfield.

Morganfield Fire Department Chief Ricky Millikan tells WMSK News that the Union County Volunteer Fire/Rescue, Union County Sheriff’s Office, Union Co EMS and Henderson Co EMS responded to a single-vehicle accident with injuries at Hwy 56 West and Hwy 360 around 11:15 a.m. Saturday. Chief Millikan says four persons were injured and transported to Methodist Hospital Union County. At this time the names of the injured have not been released by the Sheriff’s Office.

In addition, Chief Millikan tells me the Morganfield Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Walmart around 9:45 a.m. Saturday. He indicates the call was a false alarm.

Then around 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Chief Millikan says the fire department, Morganfield Police Department and Morganfield Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident at West Main and South Chapman with airbag deployment. He indicates no one was injured in the wreck.
