Louisville man arrested on multiple charges after attempting to enter a residence.

NEWS RELEASE FROM GIBSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

On November 6, 2015, at 3:50 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 call from the 200 block of County Road 950 East from a homeowner reporting that an intoxicated male had attempted to enter their residence without permission. The homeowners were able to subdue the white male 36 year old Tre Robeck of Louisville, Kentucky until law enforcement arrived on scene.

Officers from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, Oakland City Police Department, and Indiana Police Department arrived on scene and opened an investigation into the incident. During the investigation Mr. Robeck attempted to identify himself as a law enforcement officer with the Louisville Police Department. Officers gathered evidence from around the area and discovered that a Grey 2014 Dodge passenger car registered to Mr. Robeck contained open bottles of alcohol. Deputy Bryan Small administered standard field sobriety tests as a well as a portable breath test during his investigation.

Mr. Robeck was transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with:
Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI)
Trespass Refuses to Leave after Being Denied Entry
Impersonation of A Public Servant
Unlawful Possession of a Syringe
Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance

Mr. Robeck has since posted a $1500 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
