Union County has a new 4-H extension agent after the position at the Union County Extension Service has been vacant for months. Lauren Settles has been hired to fill the vacant position and tells WMSK News she grew up on a farm, and she is a recent graduate.
Settles’ hit the ground running in the new position and already has some plans and goals for the local 4-H programs.
She tells me she is looking forward to living and working in Union County.
The public is invited to stop by the local extension office and welcome Lauren Settles as the new 4-H agent during a reception Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. The Union County Extension Office is located on US 60 West.
