KYTC Snow & Ice Report as of 10:30 a.m. CST

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews in District 2 report a second round of snow has moved in for most counties.

District 1 reports all counties have trucks on the road. We’ve had reports of some thundersnow at a couple of locations.

In areas of heaviest bands, the snow is accumulating quickly and driving conditions are deteriorating. Motorists should avoid unnecessary travel.

District 1 PADUCAH

Weather: Light snow
Air Temperature: 22 to 27
Road Temperature: 25 to 28

Comments: Fulton Co is experiencing a wintry mix. Fulton has 4 trucks out. Scattered reports of light snow and sleet from time to time elsewhere.
Treating: Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle, Ballard, McCracken, Graves, Calloway, Marshall, Trigg, Livingston, Lyon, Crittenden

Some counties where the snow started earlier in the day are plowing on “A” Priority Routes.

All counties have trucks on the road at this time.
District 2 Madisonville

Comments: Most counties reporting Flurries with Light Snow moving in from the north west.
