KSP: Traffic stop leads to drug arrest of Owensboro man

Nortonville, KY (Hopkins County) – The Kentucky State Police has charged an Owensboro man with drug related offenses.

Around 1:20 Saturday afternoon about one mile north of Nortonville on I-69, state police say a trooper initiated a traffic stop on a car, driven by 38 year old Donald Galloway, for registration violations. Authorities say Galloway was arrested after he attempted to hide a plastic baggie. During the investigation, state police reportedly determined that Galloway was in possession of methamphetamine.

According to the report, Galloway was cited to court for traffic violations and lodged at the Hopkins County Detention Center for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine.
