A Tennessee man was charged for manufacturing meth and other drug offenses after police say he was injured when an alleged meth lab exploded in Uniontown.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson, an investigation began on February 18, 2016 after 47 year old Shane Kirkman of Adamsville, TN, arrived at Methodist Hospital in Union County with injuries sustained when a methamphetamine lab exploded at a residence in the 13-thousand block of Gebbart Latta Road in Uniontown in Henderson County.
