A traffic safety check-point in Union County landed a Sturgis man behind bars for drug possession and other charges.
Kentucky State Police Post 16 Trooper Corey King tells WMSK News 46 year old Chris Fitzgerald was arrested by state police at the road check at US 60 and Adams Street around 12:10 Saturday morning for first degree possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked driver’s license, and three other driver or vehicle-related offenses.
Fitzgerald is lodged in the Union County Detention Center.
