KSP Searching for Escaped Inmate

Around 11:15 p.m. Friday, the Graves County Restricted Custody Center in Mayfield contacted the Kentucky State Police regarding an inmate that walked away from the facility and jumped over a fence to escape from the grounds.

According to police, 28 year old
Capus Cain Adams, of Mortons Gap, KY is described as a white male, 6’0” with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and red/white striped jail pants at the time of his escape. Police say Adams was serving time for Tampering with Physical Evidence, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Receiving Stolen Property.

Authorities indicate Adams may be en route to the Mortons Gap area of Kentucky from where he previously resided.
