An Owensboro man has been charged for failure to comply with sex offender registration.
Kentucky State Police reports 55 year old Michael E. Stovall was arrested Tuesday after an investigation began last week when they received an anonymous tip that he was possibly in violation with the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry. As the result of the investigation, state police say it was discovered that the Owensboro man had an active social media account which is a direct violation of his lifetime registration.
Stovall was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
