KSP: Marion, KY man charged in connection to burglary at country club

A Crittenden County man has been charged in connection to a burglary that occurred last week at a country club in Marion, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville executed a warrant Saturday morning around 10:30 on 46 year old Christopher Freeman of Marion, Kentucky and charged him with one count of third degree burglary.
According to KSP, the warrant was served on Freeman at the Crittenden County Jail where he was lodged previously for unrelated charges.

Around 9:00 Monday morning, December 14, 2015, KSP responded to the Marion Country Club on Blackburn Street in Marion where a preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male, now identified as Freeman, forced his way through a window around 2:00 that morning and damaged a cash register and a surveillance camera before stealing food from a refrigerator and other unknown items.

The 46 year old Marion man remains lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
