KSP Makes Arrest Paducah Woman on Child Abuse Charges in Ballard County

NEWS RELEASE

(Kevil, KY.) – On January 19, 2016 Kentucky State Police, Post 1 received a report of possible child abuse in Kevil, KY. After a three week joint investigation with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Trooper Paul Hale arrested 40 year old Kimberly A. Kershaw of Paducah, KY on February 9, 2016.

Kershaw was lodged in the Ballard County Jail charged with 2 counts of Unlawful Imprisonment, 1st Degrees (Class D Felony), 2 counts of Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree (Class D Felony), Assault 4th Degree Child Abuse (Class A Misdemeanor), Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree (Class A Misdemeanor), Theft By Unlawful Taking u/$500 (Class A Misdemeanor), Harrassing Communications (Class B Misdemeanor), and Theft of Identity (Class D Felony).

The investigation continues by Tpr. Paul Hale and The Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
