A Livingston County teen was injured in a single-vehicle wreck over the weekend.
Kentucky State Police reports 17 year old Jose Tomas, of Smithland, was driving westbound on Coon Chapel Road around 5:15 Saturday afternoon when he became distracted and ran off the right side of the roadway, hit a ditch and crossed back over the road, struck another ditch and then a fence.
According to state police, the 17 year old complained of neck pain and was transported by ambulance to Western Baptist Hospital.
The teen was reportedly cited for not having a license in his possession and failing to produce an insurance card.
