KSP Investigating Structure Fire In Uniontown

Two Bodies Located Inside
UNIONTOWN, Ky. (March 13, 2018)–Kentucky State Police detectives are actively investigating a structure fire that killed two people this morning. The fire was reported around 5:30am, which destroyed the residence. The residence is located in the 300 block of Adams Street in Uniontown (Union Co).
Kentucky State Police detectives, KY State Fire Marshal and a KSP Arson Investigator are working to determine a cause. The origin and cause is unknown; however, at this moment, nothing appears suspicious.
An autopsy was conducted today in Madisonville and the decedents have been identified. They are:

1) Charles Shockley, 68 of Uniontown
2) Jesse Shockley, 41 of Uniontown
The investigation is on-going by KSP, KY State Fire Marshal and the Union County Coroner’s Office.
