KSP Investigating Four Suspicious Deaths in Calloway County House Fire

Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire in Calloway County where four bodies were discovered inside the home.

Kentucky State Police reports troopers were notified around 10:00 Tuesday night of s suspicious fire in which a deceased female was found inside a residence located on KY 121 South, about 1/2 mile from Murray City Limits. As firefighter’s extinguished fire, police say three additional bodies were discovered inside the home.

The Calloway County Coroner’s Office pronounced the four victims dead on the scene. The victims are identified as 29 year old Bulmara Arellano, Marisol Hernandez approximately 24 years old, a five year old boy and an 18 month old female toddler.

Once the fire scene was safe, KSP detectives began processing the crime scene. At this time, KSP does not have a suspect and is still processing the scene and conducting interviews.

Autopsies of the four bodies are scheduled this morning.

The Calloway County Fire-Rescue Department, Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and the Calloway County Coroner’s Office assisted state police on the scene.
