Penrod, KY (Muhlenberg County) – An Indiana man was injured in a two vehicle wreck in Muhlenberg County Tuesday afternoon.

According to Kentucky State Police a preliminary investigation revealed 45 year old Jeffrey Lamm of Rockport, IN was driving a semi-truck at the Twin Bridges on US HWY 431 South around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon when he collided with another 18-wheeler, causing the mirror on Lamm’s semi to shatter and strike him. State Police indicate Lamm’s semi-truck came to rest in the roadway.

KSP says the other semi-truck failed to stop and was never located.

Mr. Lamm was reportedly wearing a seat belt and was transported via ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Trooper Jacob Fortney investigated the collision and was assisted by Trooper Curtis Crick. The Dunmor Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
