KSP: Hopkins County Woman Charged with Burglary

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (WMSK) – A Nortonville woman has been charged with burglary.

According to Kentucky State Police, a trooper responded to a residence on Jessie Street in Nortonville on April 12, 2016 to investigate a burglary where the victim stated that tools and fishing equipment had been stolen from the garage.

Police indicate the trooper found the items at a pawn shop in Hopkinsville, and based on his investigation obtained an arrest warrant for 46 year old Devona S. Brasher, of Nortonville.

KSP reports Brasher was located at a residence on Jessie Street around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday where she was taken into custody.

Brasher was charged with one count of third degree burglary and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
