KSP: Daviess County man charged for possessing meth

A Daviess County resident has been charged for possessing meth and other offenses after a traffic stop in Ohio County Monday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson reports a trooper pulled over a Jeep Cherokee for speeding on US 231 around 5:00 and during the investigation 58 year old Kenneth Johnson of Philpot was taken into custody for Speeding 15 mph Over Speed Limit, Failure to Wear Seatbelt, first degree Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Johnson was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
