KSP: Bremen Man Arrested on Narcotic and Firearms Charges

KSP NEWS RELEASE

Bremen, KY– The Kentucky State Police arrested a Muhlenberg County man after a search warrant was executed at his residence.

On September 6, 2016, at 2:13 P.M., Troopers from KSP Post 2 executed a search warrant at 371 Noffsinger Lane in Bremen. During the investigation, Troopers located evidence of trafficking in methamphetamine along with items used to ingest controlled substances.  Further search also revealed an assault rifle.

Chad M Knight, age 26, was arrested on the following charges:

  • Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense < Two Grams of Methamphetamine (Firearm Enhanced)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mr. Knight was lodged at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing by Tpr. Jon McGehee.  KSP was assisted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office, Central City Police Department, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
