Hickman, KY. (October 2, 2016) On Saturday, October 1, 2016, Kentucky State Police investigators arrested and charged William Jamison, 59 of Tiptonville, TN, with Murder.
According to KSP, the arrest stems from an investigation into an altercation between Jamison and Mark Williams, 49, of Hickman, KY. The investigation has shown that the two men were involved in an altercation at approximately 4:00 PM, in a field off of KY 94 in Hickman, KY, when Jamison shot and killed Williams. Williams was pronounced dead upon the arrival of emergency medical personnel. Jamison was lodged in Fulton County Detention Center, where he remains with a $1,000,000 bond. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Monday morning in Louisville, KY.
Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton County Coroner’s Office, and Tri Cities EMS. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Cory Hamby with Kentucky State Police
