KSP Arrests Georgia Men on Methamphetamine Trafficking Charges

KSP NEWS RELEASE

Kuttawa, KY. (July 22, 2016) The Kentucky State Police stopped a 2002 Dodge Neon traveling on Interstate 24, Friday, July 22, 2016 at approximately 9:32 A.M. for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop troopers observed several indicators of criminal activity.  Troopers deployed a K-9 around the vehicle and it alerted on the vehicle. Troopers located approximately 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine.

The driver of the vehicle, Terry L. Voyles, 32, of Villa Rica, GA and the passenger John E. Woodham, 40, of Douglasville, GA were both arrested and charged with; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – Methamphetamine (Class C Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – Methamphetamine (Class D Felony), Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess (Class A Misdemeanor)

Voyles and Woodham were both lodged in the Caldwell County Detention Facility.
