An eleven year old was flown to a Nashville hospital after a single-vehicle wreck in Carlisle County.

On April 13, 2016, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Kentucky State Police responded to the intersection of County Road 1371 and 1377 near Carlisle County High School, for a single vehicle injury collision and found a vehicle driven by 30 year old Kimberly Wilson, of Arlingston, KY, was traveling west bound on County Road 1377 when she failed to negotiate a curve and ran off of the right side of the road. After exiting the road, police say Wilson then hit an embankment, overturnning the vehicle forward.

According to KSP, Wilson sustained minor injuries and was treated by Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Police indicate her eleven year old passenger suffered from multiple broken bones and was transported by Air Evac to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Tennessee.

KSP was assisted on the scene by Milburn Fire Department and Carlisle County EMS.
