KMA District 14 Participates in 12th Annual Adopt-A-Veteran Angel Tree Program

The Kentucky Motorcycle Association, District 14 recently got into the holiday spirit and participated in the 12th Annual Adopt-A-Veteran Angel Tree Program conducted by the Kentucky Career Center in Henderson. The program is to honor the service of local veterans and intended to brighten the Christmas holidays for veterans living in residential care facilities in Henderson, Union, and Webster counties.

KMA District 14 Treasurer David Holt tells WMSK News they were able to adopt 20 angels this year and purchased pajamas, warm-ups, t-shirts, sleep pants, lap blankets, and activity books for their 20 adopted Veterans. He went on to say the KMA would like to thank each and every Veteran for their service and they wish each a Merry Christmas.

Gifts for the adopted veterans will be taken to the residential care facilities by Career Center staff members and distributed the week of Christmas.
