McKenney Escaped Through a Faulty Magnetic Door

HARTFORD, Ky. (July 30, 2017) – Kentucky State Police troopers were notified by officials at the Ohio County Detention Center of an escaped inmate. The preliminary investigation reveals 48 year-old Arnold Ray McKenney of Cromwell, KY was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford for various charges including Rape and Sodomy 1st. He was authorized to be in the kitchen and assigned wash detail (dishes). Around 8pm, McKenney was able to escaped through a locked door. Investigators believe the magnetic locking mechanism was faulty by allowing the door to open if enough pressure was applied.

Last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray jogging pants.
