Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and by appointment
Henderson, Ky. (June 21, 2021) – The I-69 Ohio River Crossing (I-69 ORX) project office is reopening this week. The office will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday and by appointment. It’s open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT on Tuesdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT on Wednesdays. Current health guidelines apply for office visitors.
The project office is located at 1970 Barrett Ct., Suite 100, Henderson, KY 42420. A Project Team member is available to answer questions or hear comments. Project maps and information are also available at the office.

The combined Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and Record of Decision (ROD) are expected this fall. Kentucky is expected to begin construction on ORX Section 1, improvements in Henderson, in early 2022. Indiana recently announced it will begin construction on Indiana’s approach to the I-69 Ohio River Crossing in 2024.

Indiana and Kentucky are committed to improving the I-69 corridor by creating an I-69 Ohio River Crossing between Evansville and Henderson. The states reinitiated a study of the I-69 corridor, required under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) will identify the route, bridge location and funding solutions for a new I-69 Ohio River Crossing.
