HPD: Traffic Stop Nets Arrest of Corydon Man for Trafficking Meth

A traffic stop for careless driving led to the arrest of a Corydon man for trafficking meth.

The Henderson Police Department reports officers stopped a vehicle in the 18-hundred block of North Elm Street around 12:45 a.m. Sunday and conducted a DUI investigation on the driver, 44 year old Michael C. Boldry. Police say the driver was arrested for outstanding warrants and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

Upon conducting a search of the vehicle with a K-9 unit, police reportedly found a plastic bag underneath the driver side of the vehicle that contained individually packaged bags of methamphetamine.

Boldry was booked into the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree trafficking in a controlled substance – less than 2 grams of meth.
