An Indiana man is facing drug and alcohol related offenses after authorities say he was found passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot at Ellis Park.

According to Henderson Police, around 3:00 Sunday morning Ellis Park security officers found 44 year old Edward Adamic of Lanesville, Indiana unconscious in the driver seat of a pickup truck with the keys in the ignition and an open beer can between his legs. Police also reportedly found a cigarette cellophane wrapper with Percocet pills on his middle console.

Authorities say the Indiana man was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription/controlled substance not in proper container, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle.
