HPD: Henderson woman charged with robbery and other offenses

A 33 year old Henderson woman has been charged with second degree robbery, alcohol intoxication and second degree disorderly conduct.

Around 7:50 Thursday night, a manager at Dollar General Store on North Green Street told officers that Patricia Sizemore hid items inside her pants and coat pockets while in the store, according to a report released today by the Henderson Police Department. Sizemore reportedly then went to the checkout where several items were rung up by the cashier, but when she was told the total amount police say she stated to the cashier she didn’t have any money and then grabbed the bags and ran out of the store.

Police report the manager went outside to get the license plate number and call 911 when Sizemore got out of the vehicle and punched the manager in the face. The release indicates Sizemore then ran, but was apprehended and arrested by officers.

Sizemore was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
