HPD: Henderson man charged for possessing meth

Henderson, KY (WMSK) – A Henderson man was charged over the weekend with possessing meth.

Authorities report Henderson Police officers responded to 31-C Lawndale around 10:10 a.m. Saturday regarding 26 year old Dennis McCuiston refusing to leave the apartment. Upon arrival, police say McCuiston handed the officer a baggie of what appeared to be meth and then stated it was meth.

According to authorities, McCuiston was not very logical in his speech and he was transported to Methodist Hospital for a possible drug overdose.

After he was treated and released from the hospital, he was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (methamphatemine).
