Henrietta Marie Wilson, the daughter of Everett and Lucille Oliver, was born December 10, 1941 in Evansville, Indiana. She departed this life at 1:00am, Friday morning, September 21, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital, at the age of 76.

Henrietta was united in matrimony to James J. Wilson, November 14, 1988, in Morganfield, Kentucky. This loving, committed, patient, and respectful union lasted 31 years.

She accepted Christ early in life and joined Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Morganfield KY. She was a very active member, which was recognized as recent as July, 2016, with a Certificate of Appreciation for her service to her Church and the Lord.

She loved baking and cooking and often donated Carmel cakes (one of her specialties) to church fund-raisers. She enjoyed taking longs walks; watching her soapies, and cheering on the UK basketball team. Feeding her family, however, provided her with the most joy. She is the only woman that cooks a meal for her immediate and extended family on Mother’s Day. She exemplified a true matriarch – strong, attentive, supportive, and highly respected by her family.

Henrietta was preceded in death by: her brother, David Oliver; sister, Clara Willett; and son, David Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memories
