Henderson woman arrested in connection to drug roundup

Another arrest has been made in connection to the drug roundup conducted last week by police in Henderson.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a tip around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday that 26 year old Courtney Kyle-Hillegas, of Henderson, was at a residence in the 33-hundred block of Zion Road. Deputies arrived at the home and reportedly found Kyle in one of the bedrooms of the residence.

The 26 year old woman was taken into custody and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for first degree Trafficking in Controlled Substance over or equal to 2 grams of Methamphetamine, third degree Possession of a Controlled Substance – drug unspecified, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Appear.

In addition, authorities learned that 27 year old Anthony Mitchell, of Henderson, who was also found in the bedroom with Kyle, had several active warrants for his arrest. He was served with three warrants and arrested without incident.

Mitchell was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for Probation Violation (For Felony Offense), Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Appear. He was also charged with being a Fugitive from Another State for being wanted out of Vanderburgh County for Failure to Appear for drug possession charges.
