The Henderson Vision Plan has received a special merit award for “Outstanding Comprehensive Plan” from the Kentucky Chapter of American Planning Association.
According to City of Henderson Public Information Officer Donna Stinnett, the Henderson Vision Plan, released just over a year ago following a series of community meetings, will also be the focus of a session during the conference led by Amy Williams and B. Scott Southall representing the consultants that led Henderson through the vision process during a May 19th workshop titled “Envisioning the Future through Public Engagement: Vision Henderson.”
The organization’s annual awards ceremony is scheduled for May 19 at the 2016 APA-KY Spring Conference that will take place in Bowling Green.
