A Henderson man has been charged with trespassing, assault and drug possession.

39 year old Nathan Woodard was reportedly warned by officers on Friday that he was not allowed on some property at South Green Street, but Henderson Police say he later returned to the property and was found passed out on the floor by officers. Woodard was awakened by officers and was arrested for third degree Criminal Trespassing. During a search, police indicate they found a pill bottle on him containing different types of prescription medications (Quetiapine, Promethazine, Mylan and Xanax).

In addition, police say a female at the location informed officers Woodard had assaulted her more than once during the day and had visible injuries.

Woodard was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for fourth degree Assault (Domestic Violence), third degree Criminal Trespassing, Theft of Legend Drug or Value Under $300, Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug, Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Proper Container, Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition of a Controlled Substance Under $10,000, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
