Authorities say a Henderson woman found slouched over the steering wheel of a running vehicle Monday morning was arrested on charges of DUI and possessing meth.
The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports 48 year old Penny Lambert of Washington Street was found around 6:00 a.m. Monday at the EZ Shop at US41S and Clay Street and was charged after deputies found methamphetamine in the vehicle and she was found operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Lambert was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
