HCSO: Henderson Co. man charged after allegedly receiving drugs through mail

A Henderson County man has been charged for drug possession after an investigation by the sheriff’s department, US Postal Inspector and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.

During the investigation, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department reports they received information that 41 year old Paul Yeater of Reed was receiving a controlled substance, suboxone through the mail from an acquaintance of his in Ohio under a bogus female’s name.

According to authorities, Thursday around noon detectives conducted a controlled delivery on his mailed package and once Yeater signed and accepted the package, detectives and the US Postal Inspector conducted an interview with Yeater and his family members. Police say the package contained Suboxone, which was seized along with additional paperwork and mailing and payment receipts through Western Union made by Yeater.
