A Corydon man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he held his wife hostage.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, deputies and Kentucky State Police responded to the 400 block of Hancock Street in Corydon around 8:05 p.m. Sunday night in reference to a report that 48 year old Rego Cruse was holding his wife, 50 year old Jo Cruse, hostage in a vehicle. When deputies arrived the couple had already left the area but was located by deputies on State Route 359 in Smith Mills about an hour later.
