HCC Plans Welcome Week for Students

(Henderson) KY- Henderson Community College will welcome students for the fall term on Monday, August 15th. Several events are planned for Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th to welcome back students, faculty and staff.

The Henderson Fire Department will be on campus Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th, with a low impact obstacle course for student and employee participation. The obstacle course will be a mock course of the firefighter challenge and located behind the AT Building. The Henderson Police Department and Ambulance Service will be on campus (behind the Sullivan Technology Center) for a meet and greet session with students, faculty and staff. The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office will join the event along with their K-9 unit, K-9 dog Aries will provide a demonstration.

The Dairette Grill will welcome students back to campus with live music on both days.
