The public is invited to attend a Kentucky Association of Counties General Assembly Wrap-Up hosted by Green River Area Development District (GRADD) on Wednesday, May 10th. This free event will be held at the GRADD Office (300 GRADD Way, Owensboro) and will begin at 1:00pm CT, following the GRADD Board of Directors meeting. Senators Joe Bowen, C.B. Embry and Dorsey Ridley, as well as Representatives Jim Gooch, Suzanne Miles, Dean Schamore, DJ Johnson, Matt Castlen, and Robby Mills have been invited.

The event will provide an opportunity for Shellie Hampton of the Kentucky Association of Counties to discuss county center legislation that passed during the 2017 General Assembly Legislative Session. Additionally, the forum will be broadcast live through the GRADD Facebook page where any posted questions will be addressed. Viewers can also follow the GRADD twitter account (@GRADD_KY) to ask any questions for the legislators.

“We are happy to host Ms. Hampton and KACo for such an educational event. We appreciate our legislators working so diligently during and after sessions,” said Jiten Shah, GRADD executive director.
