GIBSON CO., IN (WMSK) – Very rarely do you go to jail for speeding, but authorities in Indiana say a Morganfield man was arrested after he was clocked speeding in excess of 110 mph.
According to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger driven by 25 year old David Barnes, of Morganfield, on Interstate 69 just south of State Road 64 around 1:00 a.m. Friday.
After a brief roadside investigation, the deputy reportedly placed Barnes into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Reckless Driving. The sheriff’s office says Barnes remains in custody on a $900 bond.
